BCM civil contracting services include:
- Reconnaissance surveys for roads, waterways, dams, etc, for design and quantity determination.
- Construction of public roads to international standards, including asphalt and bitumen application.
- Design and construction of mine site haul roads, normally from pit exit to waste dump or ROM pad.
- Airstrips, concrete works, drainage and other detailed civil works.
- BCM have constructed various haul roads from satellite pits to ROM pads.

- Earthworks and foundation preparation for mine site processing plants.
- Site clearing and establishment earthworks for mining and construction works.
- Controlled bulk earthworks such as heap leach pads, drainage canals, etc, utilising laser and GPS positioning.
- Construction of mine site water storage dams, tailings storage dams and existing dam lifts. BCM has constructed more water storage and tailings dams in West Africa than any other contractor. All were built to very high international standards.
- Environmental rehabilitation of borrow areas, roadsides, silt control structures, etc.
