ABOUT THIS ROLE:

BCM is recruiting a skilled and experienced serviceman who could operate service truck in providing assistance to qualified tradespeople in the servicing, repairing and maintenance of earthmoving equipment in civil and construction site.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out daily servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment with the use of designated service truck.
• In charge of compiling and maintaining daily fuel and lubes records
• Performs inspections on earthmoving equipment in the area of temperature, lube level etc.
• Operate service truck in the most efficient manner with a controlled level of wear and tear.
• Maintains clean working area and secure work tools.
• Manages the distribution of fuel and lubricants for all earthmoving equipment
• Any other related task assigned by supervisor.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Site based.
• Working hours is 6 days a week, 12hours per day, 06:00am to 06:00pm daily
• Overtime rate shall be applied accordingly for hours in excess of 40 hours per week 

TRAINING, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE CHECKLIST

• Prior work experience of at least 3 years as a serviceman in the mining, civils and construction site
• Proven knowledge in mechanical engineering is a plus
• Ability to operate service truck
• Driving/operating license.
• High School certification or equivalent qualification or valid Mechanical certificate from an accredited institution is preferred. 
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to work after-hours if required
